The Deer Lake RV Park and Campground is situated in the heart of Deer Lake, One would not realialize they are in the heart of a little town as when you turn the corner to our little park the rest of the world disapears. With our beautiful trees and lake surrounding the park we take great pride in keeping it as natural and beautiful as possible.
Deer Lake is located on the beautiful west coast of Newfoundland in the scenic Humber Valley. We are a growing town with a population in the 5000-7000 category. Our greatest assests seem to be the people, our lake, the beach that comes along with the lake and the surrounding areas of our beautiful quiet town. We have a few points of interest which include our Main Damn, the canal in which was man made helped with some of the same equipment used to dig the panama canal and the power house which supplies the paper mill in Corner Brook. I also consider a point of interest to be at the end of our Park as throughout the years evidence has been found that of the Maritime Archaic Indian and recent indian. We also have one of two insectariums in Canada, our insectarium is a world class facility with a huge butterfly house and exhibits of insects, alive and mounted from all over the world.
